Catholic Schools Week! We had a busy and joy filled week with fun activities and serving other children in need! Our 8th graders won the volleyball game and also earned the most for serving Mary's Meals! We also enjoyed a puppet show and a special Friday visit from Father Gregerson!
Epiphany Blessing - our classroom dwelling places received the blessing! Students also learned about the Three King Saints and a little Latin as well (Christus - Mansionem - Benedicat).
Grandparents Day!
Students had a beautiful time sharing conversation and precious time with their grandparents. Our students exclaimed that they were surprised by stories of faith journeys and experiences that led their grandparents into closeness with the Lord. Prayer intercessions and guidance for the future were shared by our wonderful grandparents. Students also learned fun facts about chickens, rats and other adventures shared between the generations!
Our 3rd graders made preditions and tested their hypothesis in constructing a structure to protect an egg from a fall. Weather kept us from a higher drop, however the process of learning was fun all the same!
